Our sincere sympathy on the passing of Brae, Brae’s earthly experience was a full and a much lived almost 90 years.
We remember many fun times shared with all your family, and thank you.
Kind thoughts Elaine Graham and family.Remembering the great times we had together in the 1980s as members of the host family Association where we had IAEA trainees from overseas stay and work on our farms for six months. Brae was Victorian then Australian present in the mid 1980s and did an excellent job. I think he may have been international present too in later years. My sympathies to his wife Dorothy and family, I hope to be there to farewell a fine man. Geoff Hewson.

Anne & Dorothy (Michael)Memories of my Uncle Tim ( Arnold Timmins) referring to Brae at Buffalo. I think Dorothy and Brae visited my Uncle and Aunt Min.
June 23, 2026Dear Dorothy and Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Brae’s passing.
I had the privilege of getting to know Brae during his time at Woorayl Lodge, where we shared many lunches and dinners together. Brae was a beautiful, gentle soul who loved a chat and had a wonderful sense of humour. He was a true gentleman, and if something wasn’t quite right, he would give that familiar little frown, which always made me smile.
One of the loveliest things to witness was the special friendship that developed between Brae and Ken Newton. They became great mates, and I know Brae’s passing will leave a huge void in Ken’s life. It was great to see them enjoy each others company.I will miss our little chats and the warmth and kindness Brae brought to those around him.
Rest peacefully, Brae. You will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. With heartfelt sympathy,

Marny CasboltHi Dorothy, John & family. Bernie and I send our Deepest Sympathy to you all on the sad passing of Brae. I just watched his funeral livestream which was very good. Well spoken John with your sense of humour coming through. Sorry we couldn’t come to the funeral as we are in Burleigh Heads, QLD. WIll always remember the good times we shared together during IAEA. Was a fabulous organisation, I spent a lot of time at your place typing names etc and our Meetings in Sydney will always remain with us, made many new friends. Dad was 89 when he died and Braes funeral reminded me so much of Dad. He also loved the land, his cattle and farming , go to Newmarket, was a highlight for Dad. Loved the photos, showed off Braes life amazingly. Good Luck to you all, love Lorraine and Bernie Holtschke.
