ROSS – Barbara Jane (née Hendy)
It is with the heaviest of hearts we share this information with all of Mum’s friends and family.
In early hours of Thursday morning, 17.04.2025, Mum passed away, surrounded by her family and an abundance of love. She fought her whole life and gave nothing but endless love to everyone around her. In her final moments she felt all of this love going back to her.
The family is grateful for the love and support you have given Barb her whole life.
As you all know, she gave her whole heart to every person she met, and now she finally lays in peace. She was the biggest ray of sunshine, and her memory will last and be remembered through each of our laughs.
We do ask that if you have any photos/videos or memories please share through messenger, as we will be checking in regularly and would love to smile a bit more.
She wished for her funeral to be held in her beautiful town of Toora. We will share these details in the coming days.
She was the greatest person to ever live, and we are certain that Mum just wants people to be smiling.
Funeral NoticeFamily and friends are warmly invited to attend the Funeral Service and Committal for Cremation for Mrs. Barbara Jane Ross, to be held at the Toora Community Hall, 23 Gray Street, Toora, on Sunday (May 4, 2025), commencing at 2.00 pm.

Barb was a bright ray of sunshine to work with during her short time at Leongatha Post Office. Her spirit and joy for life was infectious and she will be sadly missed.
