  4. Loving Nanna to Dwayne (and me), great Nanna to Rachael, Christopher and Chinah.

I’ll always remember your wonderful bright smile which lit up the room whenever we visited you and Pa. We loved visiting you and if we lived closer we would of been there every week or two.

We kept you on your toes preparing meals with you in the kitchen (Dwayne only exploded the pressure cooker full of potatoes all over the ceiling once)
Your long evenings staying up with Dwayne to watch the TV so that the TV and box were turned off in the right order :)

You so loved the visits to the cemetery with us as well where you told us who all the relatives were & we gave each grave some beautiful fresh roses from your garden.

A visit was not complete without a drive out to the farm and dairy yards with you and Pa. Reflecting on past days and Retelling stories. Dwayne has wonderful memories of visiting the farm with his brothers when he was a young child. Pa driving the boys around the paddocks in a crate behind the tractor – bouncing and hanging on.
To this day, whenever Dwayne smells cow poo he talks about those happy days spending time with the dairy cows at the milking sheds with you and Pa so many years ago :)

Well Nanna, you will now be able to go and have a cuppa and endless chats with Pa and all those relatives and friends :)

I’m sending big hugs to you and a huge kiss right on the lips.

Rest in peace Nanna – we’ll visit you again.

    Love
    Alison
