  18. Sorry to hear that Tom has passed away, my uncle Richard John Burgess who flew with Tom whilst serving in the Pathfinders would have been upset to hear of his passing, but unfortunatley my uncle died two weeks ago. I heard many events of their exploits together and having watched and the tributes from friends realised how lucky my Uncle was to serve with Tom

  21. Elaine, Sue and Jeff, I knew Tom when he was in UK in the war and he stayed with a local doctor as he recuperated. I visited once in Leongatha but he was a big part of our lives. How sad that he is gone. I was hoping to visit for his 98, this year, I thought. I now live in Colorado, US. Sending peace and loe to you all.
