In my growing years, (Uncle) Geoff & I shared a home and a mum. We had a lot of happy times during this period. During these early years, Geoff introduced me to the sounds of Roy Orbison and unfortunately, to My Old Man’s a Dustman! Geoff was a large part of the male influence in my early life, being more like a brother. I was lucky enough to be included by Geoff & Joan to help establish their new home & garden.
Over the years, when we each had our own families, we often broke bread together at each other’s dining tables enjoying good food, drinks & many laughs. Our family will hold these happy memories in our hearts.
So, rest peacefully Geoff, no longer suffering. To your family, Joan, Ashleigh, Rohan & Paul & their families, your care & compassion was outstanding. Goeff would have been enormously proud.

Geoff, although you have been a part of our lives since I was born, I will look back on the later years with fond memories.

After 25 years sitting in the farm shed you finally agreed to sell your pride and joy, your beloved Kingswood on the provision that it would be restored to its former glory.

With your input, the next 3 years ensured every nut and bolt was just as you had it, with many hours spent in the shed overseeing the project as it all came together. You had the honour of turning the key for the first time in nearly 30 years, and ill never forget the look on your face as the car fired up, just as you remembered it.

The car shows and road trips that followed were days ill always remember, and fittingly it was only weeks ago your loving family took the keys and were able to take you on one last road trip together.

Thanks Geoff, ill take great care of your Kingswood, just as you did.

To Joan and the Michael family my thoughts are with you at this sad time with the loss of Geoff. Geoff and I
first met as kids in kindergarten and went through our school days together as best mates. We started our working lives at the same time and remained close until I moved to Werribee. Geoff was always a big hearted person and was there if you needed a hand. Although we had not had contact for several years I often thought of him. I am now living in Perth and am not able to attend today but will definitely watch the service on livestream
