God looked around his garden
and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the Earth,
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you

With the help of all his angels
He flew you to your place.

  2. Our love and best wishes to you Joan on the loss of Kevin. You were our wonderful, caring neighbors for 16 years. We didn’t ever need a clock as the cows would regularly wander home to be milked at the same time each day. Much amusement was had by us when things didn’t quite go to plan and the mostly obedient dog didn’t do as he was told and he was referred to by his less commonly used name by Kevin’s booming voice. Happy times. His gentle nature will be greatly missed. Our love and thoughts are with you. XX

  5. To Joan and family. I have very happy memories from childhood being able to come out to the farm to help Kevin milk the cows. Guy Fawkes night was always the best night of the year with the biggest bonfire being built in the paddock and fire works being set off.
Very special memories also of Kevin and Joan picking me up and driving me to my Deb ball in their beautiful Mercedes.
Rest In Peace and Gooooooo Pies!!!

  22. It’s hard to even find the words that I really want to say, because no amount of words will ever be enough for you.
In your lifetime you have had so many titles. Son, brother, uncle, husband, father the list goes on. For me my favorite is great grandfather. People can go a lifetime and not even make this title. This title so special to me.

When I think of all the funny things that have happened in my life there have been so many with you. The best would have to be the day we went to Mt Ekals so you could teach me to drive, we were on this dirt track and you got me to do a 3 point turn. We bunny hopped, stalled and almost crashed. We were both in fits of laughter and you looked at me and said whatever you do don’t bloody tell Joany were I made you drive. I have kept this a secret until today. Pop, still to this day I have not done a 3 point turn up a hill on a dirt road.
When it comes to love I really don’t think anyone loved as much as you did. The love for your Farm, the love for your animals and the love for your wife and family. It takes hard work to stay with one person for over 60 years but you and nan did it. You never gave up when things got to hard and you both always stuck by each other no matter what the situation. Most people now adays give up very quickly but not you. I think this is why today makes everything so much harder. Watching the love of your life have her heart broken. I can promise you one thing we will all look after Nan and make sure that she gets through this.
After reading all the tributes it just goes to show what an amazing man you were. You have definitely left your mark in the community, and in our hearts. Your are the true definition of a gentleman.
So with all that said it is now time to say I’ll see you soon because saying good bye it just to hard to do.
Rest in Peace Pop I love you with all my heart
