Passed away peacefully at Korumburra Hospital.
Loved daughter of May and Charles Stead (both deceased). Loved sister of Jackie, Chas, Billy, Thelma, Laura, Florrie (all deceased).
Loved mother of Karen, Paul (deceased), Susan (deceased) and son-in-law Keith. Loved grandmother of Dylan, Gabriella and Lauren.

Doris was always interested in what was going on in the world. An avid newsreader. In later years she could disappear into a novel and be totally charmed. Loved sitting with her in the sunshine of her enchanted back yard among her plants. Thankyou Dylan for allowing her to enjoy her haven till the end.
March 26, 2024We first met Doris at IGA on her regular Sunday morning shop. She stopped coming in when she became unwell but we kept our friendship going. She was a lovely kind lady who also had a bit of sass about her. Hope they have Eddie’s hot seat in heaven.
We are both very saddened to hear of her passing.
