Funeral Notice
St Peters Anglican Church 2 Bruce Street, LeongathaView Map

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of James Frank (Jim) Geary will be held at St. Peters Anglican Church 2 Bruce Street, Leongatha on Monday April 11, 2022 at 11:15am.

A Service for burial will precede the above Memorial at the Leongatha Cemetery commencing at 10:00am. All welcome.

Members of the many Community Organisations of which Jim was a member are requested to form a guard of honour at the Cemetery.

If desired, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Council of Australia, envelopes will be available at the Service.

  15. Jim was such a lovely man I first remember meeting through my first aid training course in the early 1990’s. I went home from the first evening and told my Dad who the leading trainer was. He chuckled and said “He was in the job, too”. When I mentioned this comment to Jim the following week and disclosed my family details, he had many funny stories to tell about my Dad as a young bloke and, my grandfather during his teaching career.

    A man much admired, liked and respected by several generations of my family, particularly my Dad and paternal Grandfather. In their memory and, recalling my own time with Jim, I wish to extend our sympathies to the extended Geary family.
