  10. My heart is a little heavier with this news. Glenis, my words will never express my sadness hearing the news that you have moved on from this world. When I first met you, you made me shake in my tiny t-bars, but that dissolved quickly with the cheeky glint and witty exchange. The lessons you taught me……In the classroom there were the tricks of the trade, that I still use today, along with the attempts at many culinary delights. We acknowledged we all have different strengths, mine may not have been in the kitchen.
In life, there were the lessons of kindness, compassion, care, strength, independence, and love. Even though I have not seen you in a while, you remain one of my much loved people. Travel well my dear friend, you will be missed. xoxo
Thinking of you Graeme, Matt and family.

  11. Farewell Flossy. I’ll miss our catch up lunches, texts and phone calls. Working with you and the senior students was such a pleasure. You taught me heaps, we had so much fun, and the kids couldn’t have had a fairer, more caring leader. You worked so hard and were so generous, reliable and true to your word.
Sincere sympathy to Graeme, Matt and family.
    Glenis will be greatly missed.
    Much love

  12. Very sad to receive this news yesterday. Glenis was a true leader, a fantastic teacher and a brilliant mentor as I stumbled down the hallways of SGSC. I will always remember the way your eyes gleamed with mischief when you landed a well-timed joke. I was awestruck at the way you were so incredibly organised, it really was like you had a superpower, your eye for detail and the goals you achieved have not been matched by many I’ve worked with. Those beautiful manicures, your impeccable hair and the way that you carried yourself with grace and fortitude showed your strength and beauty but your playful energy revealed your humor. You touched the lives of everyone at school. Thank you for picking me up when I was down and setting me back on my feet the way you did, which was with great heart and purpose. My heart goes out to your family and the community who will miss you so much. You gave a lot to the school and they were very lucky to have you. I’m sorry I cannot be there to farewell you today, you are in my thoughts.
