Bertie was a wonderful man who made me feel very welcome when we moved to Mirboo North. He was kind, warm, humble, and an absolute pleasure to be around. My sympathies to his family and friends.

The members of the Mirboo and District Historical Society were saddened to hear of Bert’s passing. A member of our Society for many years and his visits to our rooms were enjoyed by all. Our thoughts go out to his sister Dorothy and Bert’s family. Memoires are ours to keep.
