So sad to hear the new of victors passing. My condolences to his family mimmie, macy , wider family and friends. We will remember all the laughs and great times shared with victor at yarraville FC on and off the pitch. Mimmie I am so shocked to hear of Victor’s death. He and I have been friends for decades – I have alwaysI admired how he always spoke his mind, his absolute energy, how he loved a conversation, made freinds with everyone, loved lfe. Dear Mimmie, I am so sorry to hear of your loss and my thoughts are with you and your family. Victor was such a lovely, kind and bubbly person. I remember when we played soccer together and he would run rings around most people on the field (including me) and I thought at least I have a considerable height advantage when it comes to headers, next second this flash flies through the air and intercepts a header I was going for. As I landed to the ground, confused as to why I didn’t make contact, I see Victor give me a cheeky smile as to say, “I’ve got you buddy”…. and then sprint off for the ball before I could move. Luckily he was on my team and always helping others out!

Thank you for your faithful example. Privileged and blessed to have crossed your paths. Mimmie and Macy we are here to travel this next chapter in your journey. We will love and support you in any way we can. Our prayers are with you over this time. Praying you feel wrapped in love and peace from our Saviour and Creator. Such a loss – particularly to family, but to the community as a whole. Victor will be remembered as a person of energy, strength, wisdom, patience and humour.

Victor joined the Melbourne Airport Community Aviation Consultation Group in 2023. His professional and personal experience enriched our discussions and strengthened our shared purpose. His thoughtful contributions and warm presence meant he was a highly respected and valued member of our group. He will be missed.

Our warmest thoughts to Mimmie and Macy, with hope that in time Macy sees in these tributes just a little of the fine man who was her father.

We were so grateful to have had time to talk, cry together & care for Victor albeit only a short time recently. His loss is a huge gap and hole in our hearts for he was a truly unique soul, with connection & relationships at the core of who he was. We shall treasure all the memories of family holidays together & his exuberant enthusiasm will always be missed.

Thank you for sharing Victor’s earth time with us. His beautiful soul & love for Jesus & others has strongly impacted our lives. We can’t wait to one day catch up again in Heaven – we know we will have a lot to chat about!!

I barely knew Victor, but he emanated joy and energy, light and faith. Only special people touch the lives of those they knew little, and Victor did just that. Taken way too soon, but at peace in Heaven, watching on with love and pride in his beautiful daughter and wife. My sincerest sympathy to Mimmie, Macy and all who were blessed to know him well.
