CAMERON, Daryl Hubert

I had the pleasure of working with Daryl for quite a few years. Daryl was a gentleman in the purest sense. Always calm, gentle and courteous. A joy to have a chat with. Oh, how he loved a chat. My deepest sympathies to Judy and the family.

I had many years of friendship with Daryl and enjoyed every bit of it. From tasting his chocolate covered honey to his chocolate flavoured mead and playing with the strange pieces of equipment he used to find and collect. I will sorely miss him. My sincere condolences to Judy and family.

Daryl, aka gun man! No words can ever describe what you meant to me. I had the greatest pleasure of being your neighbour and treasured friend for many years. You were always there for me, taught me so much, helped me so much, from the famous mead and honey, to the bee hives, hunting, our target practise, our many years together in CFA, your shoulder to lean on when I needed you the most, you were as tough as nails, you showed me how to just let go of what doesn’t matter, you were so cruisey, so easy going and you were the hardest worker I’ve known. You fought hard, right to the end, your stubbornness was evident! I’ll love you for ever and a day. Thank you for everything. And I mean everything. You’ve left a void that will never be filled, but you will never be forgotten. I’ll treasure our many memories for a lifetime. Rest easy mate, you deserve it. We’ve got it from here!
